biography
I have passed the ESRA certificate audiovisual realization school.
I have learned my first job as film editor
by following the classic route of student then assistant to became head editor.
So I have learned this job thanks to the transmission of my colleagues.
During my career, I have worked on fictions and documentaries for tv France Television channels
on different subjects and in different languages.
The diversity of productions and the type of films
I have worked on gave me a chance to explore different styles of film writing.
In parallel with my work as an editor, I intervened in various schools,
at the Louis Lumière Superior School for more than 15 years, at the CLCF,
at the University of Nanterre and on Angouleme's Master Creadoc.
This allowed me to act for the transmission of this profession.
I opted today for a new way of artistic expression as a visual artist with Fine Art photography
where my characters form Chinese shadows in landscapes with multiple shades of color.
I am a self-taught photographer.
Photography has always been with me because I had the chance to do photography
from childhood in film with a camera offered at the age of 5 years.
Every opportunity was good in my family to get the camera out.
So it was the film maker who introduced me to photography and fiction.
I play with everything.
Painting and cinema have trained me and allowed me to sharpen my particular gaze on the world.
The impressionists fed me like no other on the pictorial level.
Like them, I like to photograph nature and people in natural light.
As Nestor Almandros so aptly put it "Sunlight is the most beautiful light in the world."
Today, I make photographic paintings of seaside landscapes to make emerge
all the beauty of nature and everyday scenes with simplicity.
My characters are anonymous random encounters on my way.
There is no staging.
Movement and beauty is in the present moment and in everything.
Since I was a child, I practice Asian Martial Arts.
Japanese art in particular and Chinese inspires me a lot.
I have a permaculture PDC.
I am 100% organic for fifteen years and I am aware of the difficulties we encounter as human towards the planet,
and I wish to engage artistically in the defense of the sacred feminine that is,
for the planet and the feminine that we all have in us.
I do not belong to any political group and I do not wish to associate myself with any of them.
I do not conform to everything religious but to a certain free spirituality,
where I can play with symbols, shapes, codes and time spaces.
I like life as it is.
I'm trying to be right on time, right now.
