Series Around the Moon Pain 2

I play with reality with relish without any staging  in the dark,
for two hours, completely uncovered
.

People invite themselves in front of my camera without my asking them anything
and themselves play the game of life in front of my camera.

I document, I no longer make documentaries.
I try to be at the right moment, at the right moment to take my picture.
I want to account for the passage of time.
I only see the light of people.

I am certain to photograph them in their best position,
since they lend themselves to the game without any apprehension.
I show the light of people to be able to welcome the shadow with more compassion,
mine as theirs.

Now they have forgotten the camera that serves them,
that of misinformation that ridicules them.

And it happens like that all over the world.

We reflect on our own positioning
as a filmmaker, photographer, image professional or even journalist.

We take responsibility and reflect on our ethical positioning
when we film, photograph someone
whether it's an actor, a model or everyman.
Do we have to show everything?
Maybe yes
But not anyhow.

We are in a world where the image has become so present
that it has become unavoidable and even on social networks,
everyone must feel concerned by this questioning.

as they lend themselves to the game without any appreciation.
I show people the light so I can welcome the shadow with more compassion, mine as well as theirs.
