The Blue Hour Series
One day, one hour, the blue hour at the end of the evening... at La Belle Henriette, a contemplation.
Crossing the Ponton, I formalize the blue hour with delight because it is not common to photograph it in its tones there.
That day, in the blue hour, I realized the passage of time,
with several levels of blue.
Being surprised by the night, like those walkers,
I saw the sunlight thicken and become more intense.
I work on the temporality and space of the seaside.
Moment by moment the shades of blues got darker
and the sun that brings more contrast has faded
to make way for the softer moonlight .
I suggest a walk at the end of the day, at La Belle Henriette
where the light of the sun and the moon and their reflections
bring us into a contemplation at nightfall.
Blue Hour Series
One day, one hour, the blue hour... at Belle Henriette, a contemplation.
Crossing the Ponton, I formalize the blue hour with delight
because it is not common to photograph it in its tones there.
In the blue hour, I report the time that passes, with several levels of blue
which are gradually tending towards darkness.
Being surprised by the night, like these walkers,
I saw the sunlight becoming denser and more intense.
I work on temporality and space. Instant after instant, the shades of blue have become darker and the sun that brings more contrast has faded to give way
to the softer light of the moon.
The light of the sun and moon and their reflections take us on a walk,
in contemplation at nightfall.
